Traits

TRAITRS is coming back to Rotterdam! For the third time at Wavefest we can host a performance by this friendly Canadian duo, this time on V11. Already in 2018, Wavefest brought TRAITRS to Baroeg for their very first NL performance. We did this again in 2023, during our eleventh edition. Due to great interest, TRAITRS will do another European tour this year, including the UK, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. The ultimate opportunity to see their full-time show in an intimate setting before retreating to the studio to work on new material.

Disinterest

Desinteresse is a Dutch-speaking coldwave trio consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). With their singles ''Ga Weg'' (2021), ''De Mensen Van Nu'' (2022) and the debut album ''Voor Altijd'' (2023), they quickly stood out in the underground scene. Disinterest uses original equipment from the 80s as a form of art, expression and identity. Cold, abandoned and non-existential feelings characterize the dark and minimalist music of Desinteresse. However, voices and sounds are not paramount – the message behind the whole is. Earlier this year Desinteresse played as headliner at the MoonVile festival in Rotterdam, now they can be seen supporting TRAITRS.
