The Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam-West is declared UNESCO World Heritage in 2014. The architectural icon, made mostly out of glass and steel, is considered to be seen as the symbol of Dutch modernism. It was the first 'daylight factory' of Europe, whereas air, light and space were important for the progressive design.
Today still people word in the Van Nelle Factory, as several businesses have their offices in the complex. Besides that the building is an event space for both business events and meetings as festivals and more.

How to get there
The Van Nelle Factory can be reached by bus 38 from Rotterdam Central Station. Cars can park in one of the parking lots just outside the building, opposite the main entrance.
