The Yellow Canary

The Yellow Canary has landed opposite the Green Passage. This large beer café also has a matching terrace. Our own beer is brewed in the cellar.

About The Yellow Canary

On the corner of Goudsesingel and Mariniersweg you will find beer and food paradise De Gele Kanarie. The design of De Gele Kanarie may remind you of the cafés Bokaal and Weena, the other businesses of owners Ron de Jong and Dave Heijnen.

You can go to De Gele Kanarie for lunch, dinner and various types of beers, wines and mixed drinks. They also have their own beer on tap: DGK or Yellow Canary. Of course named after Rotterdammer Martin van Waardenberg, who by a yellow canary means a beer. The beer is brewed in-house, in the basement of the restaurant. You can see the large beer barrels through the glass floor near the stage and the brewery can also be admired at eye level near the toilets in the basement.
