The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra is a modern orchestra with strong roots in classical music. It was founded in 1918 and has been led by chief conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin since 2008. The energetic and colorful classical music is regularly combined in the concert programs with disciplines such as visual art, film or dance.

Concertgebouw de Doelen is the home base for the Rotterdam Philharmonic, but the orchestra can also regularly be heard at other locations, from Rotterdam stages for contemporary music to major international concert halls. The orchestra is permanent guest orchestra of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris.

The Rotterdam Philarmonic Orchestra has its home base in De Doelen in Rotterdam.
