Green oasis

At nine meters high and with a length of approximately 1,200 meters, Dakpark Rotterdam is one of the largest roof parks in Europe. A green oasis in an urban environment. In addition to a far-reaching view of the neighborhood and harbors, the park offers a natural space. There is plenty of room for sports, games and entertainment. Many local residents can be found cooling down at the water steps in the summer. There are BBQ areas and a wonderful recreational field.

You will come across various gardens and pergolas spread throughout the park. There is also a community garden with sheep, chickens, vegetable gardens, fruit hedge and adventure trail. The Dakpark Foundation works with a group of volunteers and local residents on green maintenance in the park and the management of the Neighborhood Garden. Everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy what the park has to offer. The Dakpark connects living, shopping, education, culture and recreation in a sustainable manner.
