About Maas

Maas is a national company of professional makers with its own stage in Rotterdam. Under the artistic direction of René Geerlings, they create and program for children, young people and young adults. The meeting is central: between performing arts and audiences, dance and theatre, between ages, cultures, makers and social partners. In short, the encounter between ourselves and the world.

The combination of production and programming in one house is unique within Dutch youth theater and offers opportunities; it makes interesting crossovers possible and we reach a large audience.
