Het Wilde Weten

Founded in 1992, Het Wilde Weten is one of the last and oldest artist-run studio buildings in Rotterdam, with fifteen studios in a former Franciscan nunnery, the Sint Mariaklooster.

Our members are of different ages and backgrounds, work independently, but share a common belief in autonomous self-organization and collaboration. In addition to our individual studio practices, we run an artist-in-residency program and use our ground floor project space for exhibitions and events.
