De Pelgrim is located in Historic Delfshaven and has existed since 1995.

Pilgrim beer

In Stadsbrouwerij De Pelgrim, the artisanal Pelgrim beer is made, based on pure Rotterdam water. Hence the nickname 'Liquid gold from Rotterdam'. In the brewery you can learn everything about beer and brewing beer: tasting is of course part of it! A guided tour is possible for groups of eight or more.

The brewers are constantly improving and adapting the beers. There are also regular one-off brews available on tap.

History

In 1995 Harry van de Wiel decided to establish the city brewery of Rotterdam. The brewery is decorated in the style of the old town hall of Delfshaven, the wood-copper kettles in which brewing takes place are a good example of this. In the meantime Harry's son has taken over the stirring stick and continues his father's passion.
