Chinese New Year

During Chinese New Year, the whole city is decorated and there are 15 days of all kinds of activities. From musical parades to a fireworks show and Chinese dinners in trams. Rotterdam's Chinatown is the largest in the Netherlands. Kruiskade is home to a rich array of Asian restaurants, eateries, shops and tokos. During Chinese New Year, this is therefore the centre of festivities. But there are also events on Katendrecht, where Rotterdam's first Chinatown could be found, and at the Wereldmuseum.
