Yardbird with first edition of the Yardbird After Work Series at MONO
Yardbird has been known since 2012 for its eclectic club nights at BIRD that feature hip-hop, soul and electronic music. Yardbird has since become a leading venue for Rotterdam talent in the fields of street culture, fashion and art. Yardbird is regularly involved in festivals and has even organised its own festivals. On Friday 15 November, Yardbird and MONO will join forces for the first edition of the Yardbird After Work Series.
From 18.00, there will be a range of art, frinks and music from leading DJs: Lolo, Yentzyz, Freddie Mercure and Vilain. Bkk & Strong Athlete will perform live and Josimar Gomes will be the MC.
Renowned Rotterdam artist Jelmer Konjo is the artist in residence for the first edition. He recently created designs for the introduction of Uniqlo in Rotterdam and before that he also exhibited at the opening of NIO House in Rotterdam, for example.
