Yardbird hosts Friday Night LIVE at Kunsthal

Every third Friday of the month, Kunsthal offers bites & drinks, music & performances and, above all, a stimulating and inspiring programme with a heavy dose of art during Friday Night LIVE. Each edition, a different Rotterdam partner is invited to shape an evening. On Friday 21 March, Yardbird is in charge, inspired by the exhibition Haegue Yang. Leap Year Leap Year. Yardbird originated in jazz club BIRD and has since become an independent household name in Rotterdam nightlife. During this Friday Night LIVE, Yardbird brings a unique crossover of the best sounds, live acts and modern art installations by Rotterdam creatives.

There will be live performances by Newark and Beau Zwart & Jade Caballeros. DJs Jewel, BKK, Lashanti, Yentzyz and Lolo will spin. In the auditorium, there will be an exhibition by Roffa Archives (Annemoon Kater) on Rotterdam's night culture and Rotterdam artist Jelmer Konjo will be present with The Nerve Spiral, an interactive machine that brings together art and play.
