Wizkid brings MORAYO to Rotterdam

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is better known by his stage name Wizkid. He started his career in music when he was only 11 years old in Lagos, Nigeria. His first album was released in 2011 and he subsequently broke through worldwide. Last November, he released his sixth studio album: Morayo. It is very personal, being a tribute to his late mother. On Friday 23 May, Wizkid will do a show around that album at RTM Stage. Tickets are available from Friday 7 February at 09:00 via this link.

Wizkid is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter. In his career, he has collaborated with Beyonce, Femi Kuti, Tems, Drake, Skepta, Burna Boy, Damian Marley, H.E.R. and Ella Mai.

Morayo is a tribute to his late mother. The meaning of the Yoruba word morayo is: I see joy.
