The new Reggae Woods Festival is at Zuiderpark on 6 July
On 6 July, the Zuiderpark will be the stage for the first edition of the Reggae Woods Festival. The organisation behind the renowned Reggae Lake in Amsterdam brings Collie Budz, Steel Pulse, Busy Signal and T.O.K. to Rotterdam.
There are five stages, eachwith its own atmosphere and musical style. On the mainstage, the biggest names will perform. The Dancehall tent is full of energetic dancehall, where DJ Jah hosts iconic dancehall artists. King Shiloh Soundsystem also has its own area for dub. Reggae Roots Live will feature performances by homegrown roots artists. in the Afrobeat Area, Amapiano and Afrobeat will provide a welcome addition to roots reggae and dancehall. Besides music, there are plenty of activities and attractions, including a wide range of food trucks serving Caribbean food and an arts and crafts market.

Alongside Collie Budz (known for Blind to You), British reggae formation Steel Pulse, Busy Signal and dynamic Dancehall group T.O.K., Alborosie from Italy, Maxi Priest (known for crossover hit Close to You), Luciano, Dancehall artist Konshens and Million Stylez from Sweden will also be present.
