Movies at the Beach at Maaskantine

Maaskantine opened in mid-April, so it has already warmed up. From 3 May, programming will expand even more. From that Friday, Movies on the Beach will start with a screening of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

As all Friday cinema nights sold out very quickly last summer, there is now a film screening every week on the beach under the open starry sky. In the coming period, Juno, Drive, Her, Romeo + Juliet, Aladdin and Ex Machina, among others, will be shown on the big screen. On 21 June, there will be a screening of Cocktail, with Williams Cocktails serving their canned drinks especially for this evening. On 20 September is the last film screening. Taxi Driver will be played then, and there are also many other events. From hilarious 30-second competitions to challenging pub quizzes.

The films start after 9pm. So plenty of time to grab a bite to eat beforehand. faces, Regular chef Alle Wijnstra has put burgers and pan of mussels back on the menu. New is the fresh summer mango salad. The extensive drinks menu features cocktails from Williams and local beers from Kaapse Brouwers.
