JD Sports opens largest flagship store in the Netherlands in Rotterdam

Rotterdam is already home to the world's largest Zara and Pull&Bear, and on 4 October JD Sports bovedien the largest flagship store in the Netherlands will open its doors at Beursplein. The 1,200 m² shop offers an innovative shopping experience with an Activation Zone and an exclusive Launch Zone for the latest trainers and limited-edition products. Especially for the opening, JD ambassadors Chunkz and Darkest will hand out gift vouchers together with Qucee on Saturday 5 October.

JD emphasises experience in the new shop. Various activities are organised, such as customising trainers and there is an area for a haircut.

The new shop has two floors and is accessible via two entrances: via the Koopgoot and one on the shopping street. The interior has a futuristic design with interactive elements and, of course, the very latest collections from brands such as Nike, Adidas, Asics and Under Armour.

Working with local partners such as The O, JD Sports is currently renovating the iconic Peperklip playing field in Rotterdam Zuid. The renovated pitch is expected to be festively opened in mid-November, as part of its commitment to the city and its residents.
