IF DENIM opens upcycle denim store in Zwaanshalskwartier

Sharifah and Yanto are the founders of IF DENIM. Their mission is to reuse jeans consciously and sustainably. They use old stock and carefully selected deadstock denim to create new garments. Each piece is carefully crafted in a studio on Lijnbaan and are now for sale in a physical upcycle denim store at Zwaanshals 259a. The Grand Opening is on 8 November.

''Until now, we have sold our special pieces from our Lijnbaan studio exclusively online. But thanks to growing customer demand at fairs and markets, we took the step to open our own shop. After a careful search for the right location, we are proud to open the doors of our new denim store.

At this shop, customers can not only buy unique denim pieces, but also let their own creativity run wild. Customers have the opportunity to have special items made with their old turned-in jeans. We also organise workshops and provide a platform for denim-related art and exhibitions.

We look forward to sharing our passion for denim and creating a community around sustainability and creativity.''
