For 10 years, the DÂK has been going off
The stony roof of APCOA parking Westblaak will once again transform into a pop-up city park. From Friday 12 July to Saturday 10 August, DÂK once again offers a full range of events. With a speakeasy feel, as the entrance is somewhat hidden on the Kromme Elleboog.
DÂK is an initiative of four friends who in 2014 first transformed a piece of concrete into a green community where cultures and ideas had free rein. In 10 years, DÂK has grown into a Rotterdam summer concept. Six days a week, there is live music and music by DJs, sports and games and culinary offerings.
From Yardbird to Cuba on the Meuse
This year too, there are proven crowd-pleasers like Yardbird's traditional party, the Social BBQ and the fiery ping-pong competition. But also with new surprises and new collaborations. DÂK offers impressive views and an atmospheric ambience anyway. Amid a green setting, young and old can join in during the Bob Ross painting party or unwind at a recumbent concert. There is Festa Brasileira and Cuba on the Meuse. You can already see on instagram which days which events will be there.
DÂK is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3pm to 10pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm to 11pm, Saturdays from 2pm to 11pm and Sundays from 2pm to 10pm.
