Black Coffee with an allnighter show at Rotterdam Ahoy's RTM Stage

Following its successful visit to the Van Nelle Fabriek in April 2024, MOJO now announces a club night with Black Coffee at Rotterdam Ahoy's RTM Stage on 4 October. The night will run from 10pm to 6am, with Black Coffee joined by various DJs. Ticket sales start on Friday 12 July at 11.00 via this link.

Black Coffee is a South African DJ and producer who has become one of the most prominent figures in global electronic music. Born Nkosinathi Maphumulo in Umlazi in Kwa-Zulu Natal, he began his career in music in the mid-1990s. However, it was not until 2003 that he released his debut album, which showcased his deep, soulful approach to house music to the world.

In the following years, Black Coffee continued to build his reputation as one of South Africa's most innovative and respected artists. In which he gained a large fan base through his intricate, percussive sound and a dedication to showcasing the best of the country's diverse musical traditions.

In 2015, Black Coffee really started to make a name for himself on the international stage, with high-profile performances at major festivals such as Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland and Coachella. Within a few years, he became one of the world's top artists. Black Coffee now has a five-season, 21-week residency at Ibiza's leading club, Hi Ibiza, while simultaneously performing in clubs, events and festivals across five continents and 82 countries a year. Black Coffee has collaborated with the likes of Alicia Keys, Pharrel, Usher, Diplo and David Guetta. He also won a Grammy for best dance album in 2022.
