During the festival, we will take photos for a campaign. We are looking for four enthusiastic lovers. This could be a group of friends, or two couples or four festival-goers attending solo. So the composition will be determined according to the applications. Apply via redactie@rotterdamfestivals.nl and immediately attach a photo. Those chosen will receive free entry and will be photographed at a few spots and moments during Audio Obscura. After the photo shoot, you can of course stay and enjoy the first festival on the monumental grounds.
Line-Up
Organisers are looking forward to the return of Swiss duo Adriatique, and techno titan Dax J who will play a b2b set with hard techno darling Daria Kolosova especially for the festival. Also in attendance are the energetic vinyl specialist Héctor Oaks, the hard-rave sound of Benwal, the eclectic sounds of Nedda Sou and the dynamic duo Jetti & Post. The full line-up will be announced at a later date.
Cultural heritage
It is the first time that the grounds around The Van Nelle Factory and its buildings will be the setting for a festival. The venue will accommodate multiple stages, both inside the factory and outside under the famous diagonal transport bridges connecting the various buildings of the Van Nelle Factory, where international artists, local talents and festival-goers will converge on 24 August.
Audio Obscura: "Over the past 10 years, we have searched intensively for a festival site that matches our vision. The Van Nelle Factory is known as an example of Dutch architecture, where Rotterdam's cultural heritage is celebrated in combination with industrial design and the city's creativity. We are super proud to host our first Audio Obscura Festival in Rotterdam, in the Van Nelle Fabriek."
