A fashion show will determine the first Fashion Mayor

Shop owners and property owners in Rotterdam city centre are jointly looking for a fashion icon to be named Fashion Mayor of the City of Rotterdam. On 14 September, there will be a fashion show where three finalists will display their fashion creations in the city centre. After the show, the Fashion Mayor will be announced.

On 14 September, the fashion show starts at 15.00 on Korte Lijnbaan. Featuring Jermaine Berkhoudt (aka MC JR) as host and DJ Sepher behind the turntables. The five finalists are: Do Nossent, Isabell Schulz, Lee Jacob Drogt, Odair Pereira and Bixen. The award ceremony is afterwards at George Cocktails and Food on Korte Lijnbaan. In addition to the title of Rotterdam's first Fashion Mayor, the winner will also receive €750 shopping credit per month to spend in the city centre. In addition, the Fashion Mayor becomes the face and voice, both online and offline, for the city centre and attends various events.

Creativity, courage and a clear vision

Rotterdam is a city full of culture, art and fashion. So Rotterdam Centrum, in collaboration with content agency Snip Snap, thought it was time to find a Rotterdam Fashion Mayor. As ambassador of Rotterdam Centrum, this Fashion Mayor will be the face of the city for a year.
