Or is this all a gross exaggeration and should we stick to the love-attention-and-trust mantra that is so characteristic of our generation of parents?

And what right do we actually have to speak if we regularly find ourselves scrolling and staring at a screen when our child is talking to us? Or if we surf from current affairs to Funda until late at night between series?
