#Wunderbar Window Exhibition Series // Cut the Rope

In this edition of the Window Exhibition Series titled: CUT THE ROPE four artists are expressing their thoughts and words through the medium of textile. Can you feel the personal cultural journey in fabric? Scream in rage with crochet stitches? Challenge the patterns of heteronormativity, that are so often omitted, in a tapestry? Textile is not only the medium in these works, it's also the main storyteller, the performer and the conversation.

Society is a quilted blanket, loud with patterns and textures, it's often stitched together by norms and rules, that are bound to be questioned. These four artists take a fresh look on our lives, they cut the rope and rearrange the fabric of reality we live in.

WORM invites you to explore the world of textile play through the Windows of Wunderbar. Do you catch yourself wanting to tug on the loose strings, pull the rope, brush your hand against the intriguing texture? Who knows what could happen if the glass suddenly disappears. Join us in wondering and questioning on this opening evening. Walk through the exhibition and join us for dinner at 7:00 PM. The exhibition will remain in the Windows for two months.
