Wizkid
Grammy-winning Afrobeat superstar Wizkid continues to conquer the world. With iconic hits like Ojuelegba and Essence, he established himself as a pioneer in African music. His upcoming album Morayo is an intimate tribute to his late mother, further underlining his global impact.
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Wizkid began his musical journey in Lagos, Nigeria, and rose to international stardom. His breakthrough hit Ojuelegba and collaborations with Drake and Skepta catapulted him to global fame, while his album Made in Lagos broke records and the hit Essence became a global phenomenon.
Following the success of More Love, Less Ego in 2022, Wizkid returns with his sixth studio album, Morayo. Deeply personal, dedicated to his late mother and infused with the meaning of the Yoruba word morayo – “I see joy”, the album continues to lead the Afrobeat revolution with his unique sound and groundbreaking vision, cementing his status as a global superstar.
