In the midst of this violence, former Jets member Tony and the sister of the Sharks leader Maria meet and fall madly in love. Their forbidden love inflames tensions between the gangs, with tragic consequences. WEST SIDE STORY, based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, is a captivating musical full of rousing music, breathtaking dance and a story that continues to touch. With a large live orchestra, the beautiful songs such as 'Maria', 'I Feel Pretty', 'America' and 'Tonight' come to life.
