Two individuals don't want to be alone, but they also don't really know how to do it together. They want to build a world, but don't know what the right tools are. Like two clowns in an adult world, they try to behave within the rules of 'being human', in the hope of finding a soulmate. Until it turns out that the rules are slightly different for her than for him.

We're all alone in this together is a tragicomic performance about arming yourself against the dragons on the battlefield of love. But also against the ghosts in your head. Against that scary man who cycles behind you after school and against that dragon of a neighbor who says that you thought of it all yourself.

Because if you are a clown dressed as a human, how do you know which dragon is a human and which human is a dragon?
