We are Shadows Searching is a research trilogy of which we presented the first part in October, it is an initiative of Eef van Breen (composer and trumpet player) and mime player, performer Nathalie Smoor (seen before with TRICKSTER at WORM). Last month they started a first collaboration during the Bersama Collective initiative “Nyaj Stories” in the Dakota Theater in The Hague.

In We are Shadows Searching, Eef and Nathalie search for their own shadows in the broadest sense of the word, and find ways to implement these in a final music performance with music by the Eef van Breen Group, gamelan, shadow play and ritual power.
