Experience an evening full of emotion, reflection and hope during the unique concert Freedom in Sound: 80 Liberation with The Armed Man. This special musical event marks 80 years of freedom and offers an unforgettable journey through the power of music in times of war and peace.
The concert is dedicated to remembrance and connection. Led by chief conductor Björn Bus, the Dutch Customs Orchestra, together with the renowned choir Consensus Vocalis, will perform an impressive repertoire:
- The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace – Karl Jenkins
- A modern masterpiece, in which the tragedy of war and the hope for peace come together beautifully in image and sound.
- Godspeed! – Stephen Melillo
- An energetic and emotional ode to courage and determination.
- Hymn to the Fallen – John Williams
- A moving tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
- I Shall Love but Thee – Jan Van der Roost
- An intimate and loving composition, celebrating hope and humanity.
