Vincen García

Spanish funk, fusion and jazz bassist Vincen García makes rousing funk in the style of Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy and the Fearless Flyers. He gained international attention through his videos on Instagram. One day he got a call from none other than Vulfpeck guitarist Cory Wong, if he wanted to play on his European Tour. There was no way back!

García was born into a musical family: his mother was a singer, his father a trumpet player, and he went with his parents as a child. He picked up the bass himself because his school band was still lacking it, taught himself to play it and found his great passion and groove!

Now he comes to Rotterdam with his own project and plays music from his album Ventura. Hiphop, game music, soul and a thick groove are mixed on the record into a funky whole. Garcia follows in the footsteps of Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy and The Fearless Flyers, and gives his own twist to this irresistible music.
