The Trompenburg sowing society, consisting of dedicated green professionals, will start growing more than 60 different special annual plants in February. With more than 15 years of experience in sowing, caring for and repotting these special flowers, the green professionals promise a colorful and surprising assortment.

Art of weaning.

Every year the society selects new and remarkable plant species, sometimes inspired by the favourites of previous years. The sowing process, which always involves exciting surprises, makes the offer unique every time. The prickling out of the young plants, carried out with precision and dexterity, is the most labour-intensive work, in which fondue forks and skewers serve as tools.

Setting in botanical garden.

The location of this unique sale is the botanical gardens of Trompenburg Tuinen & Arboretum in Rotterdam. The regular entrance fees apply for access to the event, but visitors with a Museum card, Rotterdam pass or Trompenburg annual walking card enjoy free access.
