Today we close. How do we proceed?

Adoptees had no voice in the process of their adoption. How do we, now that we are adults and have a voice, own our own story? And how do we ensure that the social and political debate on adoption reflects our stories, and not the Western perspective of intended parents?

Ownership and autonomy are important steps in the (de-colonial) process towards recognition, justice and recovery. What do we need for this? What will help us further on this path? And what can we do for each other in this?

From 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM there will be a performance and interactive game by spoken word artist Kevin Groen (South Korea).

At 5:00 PM there will be a presentation of the workshops that were given in the afternoon. Enjoy the snacks that were made during the cooking workshop.
