Veena orchestra Viering: 100 jaar Mohamed Rafi - deel 2

Come and enjoy the second part of the concert 'the celebration of 100 years of Mohamed Rafi' by the Veena Orchestra with various soloists.

Mohamed Rafi was known for his versatility and vocal range; his songs ranged from fast, cheerful numbers to patriotic songs, from sad to very romantic, from qawwalis to ghazals and from bhajans to classical songs.

Mohamed Rafi received several awards and accolades in Bollywood in the 1960s and 1970s. In 2001, he was named the best singer of the millennium.

To commemorate him, Veena Orchestra brings singer Prasan Rao from Mumbai to the Netherlands. This singer can come very close to the golden voice of Mohaned Rafi.

On July 14 this year he already sang with great success together with the orchestra. At this concert he also forms a duo with the famous singer Madhu Lalbahadoersing.
