Tramhaus

Tramhaus’ debut album is finally out—haven’t you heard it?! Their menacing and dangerous post-punk has built a wild reputation, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Enveloped in a dark, brooding atmosphere, their music offers sharp reflections on societal crises, combined with smart, often sharp observations on the strange habits of humanity. At the heart of the catchy songs lies an unstoppable groove, like a runaway train that thunders on without brakes, leaving only chaos and destruction in its wake.

Although their album sometimes reminds us of noise-rock legends like Pixies, Joy Division, Fat White Family and Nirvana, Tramhaus remains undeniably unique. The band has forged their own creative path by touring relentlessly, spending hours in the studio and simply existing together as a close-knit group of friends. They have already made their mark, performing at all the major Dutch festivals and even touring as far as Japan. It is exciting to see a Dutch band reach such heights.
