Has all that high-flown philosophical cabaret made any difference? Tim Fransen has taken stock, drawn his conclusions and decided to change tack.

Away with heavy social themes, away with moralism, away with that philosophical nonsense. In these times of crisis and misery, people deserve a carefree evening. A good laugh, wonderfully light-hearted entertainment, entertainment with a capital E. Tim Fransen is not going to talk about the misery in the Middle East. Or about the ecological catastrophe that is hurtling towards us. Or about the fact that our society is slowly crumbling into a cynical every-man-for-himself. No, Tim is holding back. Instead, tap dancing, fireworks, show ballet, dick jokes, grand musical numbers. Because tonight is carefree. At least, Tim is going to do his best…
