About the Artists

Tijn Wybenga & Federico Calcagno

Tijn and Federico met in 2019 during performances with the Brainteaser Orchestra. Their shared passion for improvisation and influences of orchestral textures and Carnatic music resulted in a creative collaboration. During this festival they will play new compositions inspired by Japanese scales, live electronics and samples.

Catherine Graindorge ft. Simon Ho

Catherine Graindorge, a versatile Belgian violinist and composer, is known for her cinematic soundscapes. Together with Swiss pianist Simon Ho, a master of contemporary composition, they present hypnotic music that brings together genres such as ambient, rock and neo-classical.

About the Festival

The Culture Unlimited Festival 2024 is a celebration of diversity, art and intercultural exchange. From late November to 23 December, the festival offers a wide range of music, with a focus on the rich traditions of the East. From contemporary classical to jazz, pop, electronic and oriental folk music – there is something for everyone.
