Thuisje, Boompje, Beestje

In the exhibition Thuisje, Boompje, Beestje we show different sides of our feeling of home. You can recognize this in the smallest things, such as the creaking of the stairs or the way someone laughs. You probably share your home with animals too. We show how they have found their own place in Rotterdam, sometimes with our help and sometimes without. Can they also be at home with us?

Especially now that many people are looking for a home. That is why we have investigated what 'feeling at home' actually means. Although it is different for everyone, there are similarities. People feel at home where they feel comfortable, where it is safe and where they can be completely themselves.
