There is no place like Keilewerf!

This year Keilewerf is celebrating its 10th anniversary and we are celebrating this for almost a whole week!

The kickoff will take place during the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend, but you can also do all kinds of things at our location during Placemaking Week Europe.

Exhibition 'Home'

In honor of our anniversary, we are organizing an outdoor exhibition called 'Home' in the backyard of Keilewerf 2. Everything revolves around the past, present and future of our terrain. Frans van der Horst created a meeting installation for it that embraces, invites and.. sits, lies, hangs and feels good. It is a place where you can find each other, inspire each other and make beautiful things. Exactly like the Keilewerf. Now is your chance to come and experience it!

Programming

In addition to the exhibition, you can take part in a tour of the site, visit the studios, get to know the Wervers and their work and admire the artwork they created together especially for this 10th anniversary.

During Placemaking Week, 100 students from Hogeschool Rotterdam will be present to collaborate with residents on new ideas for our terrain through a Hackathon. You can walk by, talk to the students, think along and give your input to their research.
