The story of Etta James Tribute to a legend

Six friends, six singers, pay a swinging tribute to the singer Etta James, one of their soul idols. Maureen Pengel, Ms. Kingflower, Denise Jannah, Farida Merville, Maureen Fernandes and Lucille Young-Afat all have roots in soul music.

Etta James (1938 – 2012) was an American soul, gospel and R&B singer. She became world famous with big hits such as I'd Rather Go Blind and At Last. She has received several Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Grammy Award in 2003. The six singers take you along in their vibrant 'soulful' theater show! They are accompanied by a swinging live band.
