The New Now YOUNG x GRASnacht x Rizoom de Doelen, Asko|Schönberg, and Rizoom present new makers together

Sometimes still rough, sometimes very beautiful, but always innovative and surprising. This edition of Het Nieuwe Nu YOUNG focuses on Rizoom makers and makers who work with Asko|Schönberg in GRASpunt.

GRASpunt is the industrial warehouse in Amsterdam-Noord where Asko|Schönberg rehearses. The young, groundbreaking makers who are given the space to experiment and create are normally presented twice a year during their own GRASnacht. GRASnacht makes a trip to Rotterdam for Het Nieuwe Nu YOUNG.

The makers of Rizoom (a partnership for innovative young makers between De Doelen and other stages, festivals and ensembles) will also open the doors of their rehearsal space on this evening. They try out fragments and share with you new music in the making.

Rizoom is there for makers in contemporary music and everything related to it. As an individual or as a collective, self-taught or from a professional art education. De Doelen is one of the partners in the Rizoom network.
