The Last Journey
A moving documentary about a son who tries to cheer up his depressed father with a nostalgic trip through France.
TV presenter Filip Hammar takes his 80-year-old father Lars on a surprise trip along the route their family used to drive every summer. Together with his best friend Fredrik Wikingsson, he hopes that old memories will pull Lars out of his slump. But when Lars suffers a broken bone, the trip takes an unexpected turn. As they finally reach their destination, Filip is confronted with the painful reality of his father's old age and the inevitable transience of life.
