The Fabelmans

Little Sammy Fabelman grows up in Arizona in the early years after the end of World War II. Already in his childhood he has found a great passion for cinema and makes films with his friends. He feels supported in this by his mother, a skilled pianist. His father is a computer scientist whose colleague Benny takes on the role of uncle for Sammy and his sisters. This family dynamic eventually leads to tensions that seep into Sammy's audiovisual creations.
