The Chicago Funk - The Funk is Back in Town!

The Chicago Funk pays tribute to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire. Finalist in the second season of the SBS6 television program The Tribute, Battle of the Bands, where they scored high with the audience!

The love for old soul, disco and motown music is in their nature. The show is a whirlwind of hits that pass by and last but not least this party will ignite the disco flame in everyone. "When you close your eyes, Earth, Wind & Fire must be standing in front of you", that is the starting point of this 12-piece tribute band.

The original pop group Earth, Wind & Fire is known for the high notes of Phillip Bailey, the warm sound of Maurice White and the recognizable voice of Ralph Johnson. These characteristic voices had to remain and be honored. Those voices were found in the Dutch artists Nigel Brown, Clayton Peroti and Clifton End.

The musical tribute sensation takes you back to the 70's and 80's. All hits such as 'Boogie Wonderland', 'In the Stone', 'After the Love has Gone' and of course world hit 'September' are played. Get your disco outfit out of the closet and groove along during this insane show!
