The album was released in September 2024 on Edition Records and explores the dynamics between abstraction and emotion, with compositions that are both powerful and intimate.
The Bad Plus continues to evolve. Three years ago, the band decided to take a new direction with a sound without piano. This line-up brought a fresh wave of inspiration and excitement, and with Complex Emotions they continue to expand their universe.
