The four members of Leeds' The 113 shroud themselves in darkness like a Death Eater appearing in a cloud of black smoke.
Their haunting, dark and raw post-punk combines heavy guitars and pumping rhythms with powerful melodies, buzzing basslines and razor-sharp vocals.
Their sound combines the menacing intensity of Protomartyr with the infectious songwriting of Arctic Monkeys, resulting in catchy songs that capture both the moshing crowd up front and the attentive music lovers in the back.
Although the band has only released a handful of singles so far, each song is a hit, giving them a promising future. Despite being in the early stages of their career, they have already played a number of shows. You might have seen them at festivals like Left Of The Dial, Misty Fields or in Roodkapje with Dim Imagery.
