In Terug naar Prinsenplein, Gershwin Bonevacia goes in search of his ten-year-old self, 'Gush'. Who was Gush, how did Gush contribute to Gershwin and where does the emotional distance that has arisen come from? During this search, the adult Gershwin encounters all kinds of traumas, skewed relationships and taboos.
Back to Prinsenplein is an investigation into the past, family ties and childhood. At the same time it is an ode to the young fearless first-person narrator and a frantic attempt to find it again in the adult Gershwin.
