Tanael Joachim - Soloshow
TJ is a standup comedian who has made appearances on Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV and on Good Day New York on FOX. He is based in New York City but was born and raised in Haiti.
TJ has a very laid back, smooth, and conversational style and he jokes about race, society's idiosyncrasies, and the inherent contrast between life in Haiti and America. Some people say his humor is smart and eye-opening; he would probably agree with these people.
TJ performs regularly at some of the best clubs in New York, including the world famous Comedy Cellar, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and Eastville Comedy Club. He can also be seen at the best alternative shows in the city. He's been a featured performer at SF Sketchfest in San Francisco, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. He's also performed at the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta, the Underground Festival in Washington DC and was one of the 8 finalists in the Boston Comedy Festival in 2016. He's also an Op-Ed contributor for The New York Times
TJ wants to tell jokes for a long time and be great at it. Because he really cares about that. And he wants you to come along for the journey.
