AIR, Library Rotterdam and the Municipality of Rotterdam are organizing the talk show ' The new library! '. During this talk show, moderator Hasna el Maroudi will talk to various parties involved in the renovation of the library. At each program component, there is an opportunity to ask questions and enter into discussion.

Alice Vlaanderen (director-manager of the Rotterdam Library) talks about the need from the library for the transformation of the building. Alderman Struijvenberg gives his vision on the importance of the library for a large city like Rotterdam. Architect Albert Richter of Powerhouse Company talks about the design choices that were made, the choice of materials and what will and will not be retained from the current building and why.
