A growing group of Dutch people no longer want to have anything to do with the government and call themselves 'autonomous' or 'sovereign'. One person can eat more fruit, while another benefits from less dairy. “We are on the eve of personalized nutrition.” In her dissertation, Milanne Galekop investigated whether personalized nutrition provides health benefits. For example, participants received meal boxes or a personal shopping list in the Aldi app. Overweight people appeared to lose weight, and the research also shows that personalized nutrition has potential.
