Written by a singer who is in the creative prime of his life. Younger in his head than when he was young because he sees himself more in the big perspective and the ego was put in a gray bag at the door. A man who has always gone his own way and who in recent years has found his own balance between the singer, the storyteller and the comedian that he is, living at the tri-border point of Flanders, the Netherlands and South Africa.
Suddenly visible again to the general public through TV programs such as 'Beste Zangers' (NL) and 'De liefde voor muziek' (BE) with something he had actually been doing in the theaters for years, because the theater is his safe haven and the only place where his words can really come home.
