The unpredictable weather in the Netherlands becomes irrelevant once you know Splendid, a band that has been bringing sunshine to every household in the Low Countries for more than 25 years. With their energetic mix of pop, reggae and hip-hop, this seven-piece formation exudes only positive vibes. Their characteristic sound is cheerful and transports you to a sultry summer evening, with your bare feet in the sand, dancing until the sun disappears into the sea.

The group has released no fewer than seven albums, with their last studio work dating back to 2018. However, this does not detract from the atmosphere, as the band's live reputation leaves nothing to be desired. Frontman Pat Schmitz ensures that everyone, absolutely everyone, in the audience goes crazy.
