Soulfood Iftar Theater Zuidplein

For the third time, Theater Zuidplein is organizing a Soulfood Iftar, the meal after sunset to break the fast during Ramadan. The program is all about connection and meeting. With yourself, each other and between different generations. Come along with your child, as a child with your parent, or as a grandparent with your (grand)child. Together we will eat a delicious meal in good company of each other and we will reflect on what we find important during Ramadan and what we will take with us for afterwards. The kids can join a special program put together for them by Faizi.

During Ramadan, there is a lot of attention for charity and gratitude. That is why we put the Islamic Food Bank in the spotlight. For over 15 years, they have been distributing more than 11,000 packages annually, cooking meals, providing warmth on the coldest winter days and providing guidance where possible. In this way, they help hundreds of families, but also the homeless, refugees and newcomers in difficult times. Do you also want to help support families and vulnerable people? Theater Zuidplein is a collection point for the Islamic Food Bank during Ramadan. Donate what you can spare. Think of durable products from the pantry (pasta, sugar, flour, rice, salt, bulgur, lentils, etc.), hygiene products, tea/coffee, sweets or cleaning products.
